Launched in 1985 the UK JOURNAL OF MINES & MINERALS is targeted
towards amateur and professional mineralogists, especially those interested
in mineral collecting, geologists, mines historians and others with a general
interest in natural history. Subjects are covered such that they are interesting
to the amateur yet informative to professionals within the various disciplines.
British topographical mineralogy figures prominently with other regular articles
on mineral news, book reviews, new minerals, museum information and other themes
of current mineralogical interest.
The journal is produced about once per year in A4 format and is in full colour.
The journal has a print run of about 1,000 copies and is distributed to more than 20 countries
